About The Opportunity
Trend Windows & Doors has an opportunity for a Production Manager based in Ormeau. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is critical in delivering on our customer promises by leading a production team of approximately 70 people to meet production targets, maintain quality outcomes, and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Lead and supervise the production team to ensure safe and efficient operations
* Proactively problemsolve and resolve any production or workflow issues
* Monitor production output and quality metrics to meet targets
* Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Train and mentor leading hands, production employees, and contingent workers
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows
* Prepare and provide monthly production reports to the Management Team
* Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods
About You
* Proven leadership experience with strong organisational and planning skills
* A collaborative team player who is selfmotivated and resultsdriven
* Strong people skills with the ability to communicate across all levels
* Sound judgement and decisionmaking abilities
* Experience with lean principles or Six Sigma methodologies (desirable)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Systems savvy with confidence using technology and production systems
