Delivering Comprehensive Dialysis Care
As a skilled dialysis nurse, you will have the opportunity to administer home dialysis treatment in a flexible environment.
You will provide direct and comprehensive dialysis nursing care and individual case management to patients in their homes. Your duties will include:
* Coordinating services, including those of other disciplines or agencies, to promote health status improvement;
* Offering education, counselling, and group work services to support patients' health status improvement;
* Supporting newer staff members through education and direction;
* Participating in quality assurance programs.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Experience using Fresenius and/or Gambro machines, with on-the-job training available;
* A Bachelor's degree in nursing and a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience;
* Recent clinical experience in haemodialysis in a hospital/clinical environment;
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant authorities and clearance certificates;
* Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate patient care, competency in clinical problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
