Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team on the Sunshine Coast. This role offers the chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects and contribute your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality civil design solutions across a range of projects.
* Contribute to the development of budgets and preparation of fee proposals.
* Undertake detailed civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities.
* Act as superintendent during construction
* Attend site inspections, hold site meetings
* Collaborate closely with designers, drafters, contractors, and other engineers at project meetings.
* Support project management activities, including scheduling and reporting.
* Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER/RPEQ accreditation.
* 2+ years' experience in civil engineering for land development, or greenfield projects.
* Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
* Experience in QA processes and superintending.
