We're currently looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is looking to take the next step in their professional journey; someone who values high standards, collaborative teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.
What You'll Be Doing
Supports the Head of Accounting to provide an exceptional client experience through high quality and timely technical services.
Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
Assisting with tax planning and business advisory work under guidance from senior team members.
Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT and PAYG reports.
Supporting the workflow and delivery of client engagements.
Collaborating with team members and supporting junior staff where appropriate.
Building communication skills and client confidence by participating in meetings and correspondence.
About You
2–3 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm.
Enrolled in (or progressing through) CA or CPA.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Comfortable using cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB).
A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Clear communicator — both written and verbal.
Open to learning, feedback and ongoing development.
