Job Overview
We are looking for passionate Exercise Physiologists to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. Your role will be to provide holistic, integrated care that enhances clients' mobility, independence and wellbeing. You will develop new treatment programmes and group classes, manage a caseload, and support student placements.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver in‑centre and home‑visit exercise physiotherapy services to community and aged‑care clients.
* Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists and allied health assistants.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans targeting movement, pain, balance and quality of life.
* Maintain and grow a client caseload, setting realistic productivity targets.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, education sessions and program development.
* Provide mentoring to new graduates and less‑experienced physiologists.
* Support student placements and contribute to the overall exercise physiologist service.
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation and record keeping.
Qualifications & Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Clinical Exercise Physiology with current ESSA accreditation.
* Experience in exercise physiology assessment and treatment for aged‑care, chronic illness or disease populations.
* Ability to manage an autonomous caseload while working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
* Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and prioritisation skills.
* Competence in accurate documentation and electronic record keeping.
* Confidence in using smartphones and digital devices; willingness to learn.
* Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) and valid Australian driver's licence with a road‑worthy vehicle and comprehensive insurance.
