Labourer - Rubber Liner, Tiling and Protective Coatings role at Illawarra Mercury. Local company servicing the Illawarra and NSW for 22 years, offering onsite and workshop services with ceramic tiling, rubber lining and protective coatings solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform grit blasting and protective coating procedure duties both in the workshop and on site
- Assist the tilers and rubber liners at all times while being trained to perform these jobs independently
- Commit to working safely, in line with Company Health and Safety policies
- Be able to start early some mornings, and be available for some weekend work and short periods away
What We\'re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and fast learner with willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus
- Punctual, honest and reliable
- Valid Driver\'s Licence
- Must pass Order 43 medical and Drug and Alcohol testing
- Must provide previous work references
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
Qualification Requirements
- Working Safely at Heights
- Most qualifications required before starting; some may be obtained during employment
- Confined Space - Work and Enter and Standby
- Elevated EWP
- White Card
- Forklift Licence
- Current Order 43 Medical
You will be required to undergo a probationary period of three months as a casual for 38 hours per week; if you meet all requirements, the position may become permanent full time.
