Project Manager - Weipa (Permanent, potential for FIFO 2:1)

Overview

Goodline is currently open to applications from individuals demonstrating excellent experience as a Project Manager to support our Amrun Operations - Projects. This role will oversee all aspects of civil construction and infrastructure delivery, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role will work off a 2/1 roster.

This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution—from planning and procurement to delivery and close‑out—ensuring safety, quality, and budget targets are met.

Responsibilities

- Managing the full lifecycle of the project works, including earthworks, concrete foundations, services installation and building works
- Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary site team including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with site safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Coordinating logistics, procurement, and scheduling in a remote site environment
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with client representatives and local stakeholders

The role will work from Weipa, Far North Queensland on rostered days.

About You

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, ideally on mine or remote infrastructure projects
- Previous experience on camp or accommodation infrastructure projects highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Sound knowledge of project management tools and systems (e.g. Primavera)
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Ability to work in remote conditions and adapt to dynamic site environments

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for ongoing learning and development within the mining and resource sector

The point of hire of this role will be from Brisbane or Cairns, as such you will be required to fly from Brisbane or Cairns Airport.
