As we look to expand our operations in QLD and strengthen ouronsite maintenance supervision, we are currently seekingapplications from experienced MaintenanceSupervisors for a Full-Time position atour South Walker Creek project in the Nebo regionwest of Mackay.
The roster for the role is 8/6 - dayshift only. The role will require theSupervisor to be 'on the tools' and work as aFitter at times.
Indicative pay rate is from $74 per hour.
Reporting to the Project Leader and MaintenanceSuperintendent, you will be responsible for, but not limitedto:
* Managing all site planned and unplanned maintenance
* Maintaining all maintenance parts and service parts stocklevels
* Ensuring that maintenance is carried out correctly
* Planning maintenance and repairs with ProductionSuperintendent
* Maintaining required maintenance records on site,
* Supervision and leadership of the maintenance workgroup
* Making sure that work is performed in an efficient and safemanner
* Being involved in continuous improvement initiatives
* Adhering to all Safety Procedures and Company Policies
* Ensuring machinery/equipment is kept up to OEMspecifications and compliant to Site or Company Standards.
ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include:
* Hand Tools
* Driver Licence
* High level of diagnostic skills and field service faultfinding is highly regarded
* Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Computer literacy and experience using maintenancesystems
* Safety first approach
* Leadership qualities and experience leading a team
DESIRABLE skills include:
* Heavy machinery maintenance experience
* Working at Heights
* S123 and G2 supervisory qualifications
