Strategic Procurement Leader Opportunity
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a seasoned Strategic Procurement Leader to join its ANJ Category Management Team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to drive end-to-end business value, strategically manage procurement categories, and contribute to global strategies that drive competitive advantage.
* Develop and implement local procurement category strategies, aligning with global objectives and driving business growth.
* Execute procurement category strategy project pipelines, including sourcing strategy creation, internal needs assessment, market analysis, sourcing event management (RfX), negotiation leadership, supplier selection, and contract cycles.
* Build and maintain market intelligence, understanding cost drivers, inflation development, market dynamics, and opportunities for innovation or business benefits.
* Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to align mid-and-long-term strategies based on business needs and strategic objectives.
* Define and manage annual ESG and productivity projects related to category goods/services in collaboration with procurement operations teams and functional counterparts.
* Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) and supplier development programs, partnering with key stakeholders and strategic suppliers to deliver strategic agendas and drive competitive advantage.
* Measure and manage procurement category performance against business needs, ensuring alignment and optimal results.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
* Experience in managing commercial, IT, and corporate services will be highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualified, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient in Excel and business procurement systems.
* Proven experience in managing and executing procurement category strategies, leading RFX and negotiations, contract development and execution, stakeholder engagement, and supplier relationship management.
* Strong analytical skills, confident in problem-solving, with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Ability to work with local and global stakeholders to drive business growth, innovation, and sustainability.
* Experience in managing spend under management, category complexity, and supplier performance to deliver commercial impact.
