Issue receipts as required. Prepare reconciliations and journal entries as required.Investigate and respond to account enquiries via phone, email and mail within documented timeframes. Enquiries may be received from staff, clients, residents, financial representatives, Government Departments and other third parties. Enquiries may include but are not limited to querying of cash or cheque receipts, fee structures, refunds and explanation of statements processed.Data Analysis with some data entry to identify trends and matters to be investigated further.Appropriate escalation and follow-up actions to other members of the Finance teams as required.Present a friendly and professional face to external enquirers and internal HammondCare staffAd hoc projects as required: Including increase in adoption of work orders across the business and enhancements to exception reporting.About YouCommitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in ActionMinimum of a Certificate IV in Accounting / Management / Business Administration or equivalent preferredMinimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role including accounts receivable, billing, and collectionsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenNegotiation skills, with a customer focused approachAbility to handle difficult and sensitive conversations with empathy, patience and professionalismImmediate to advanced computer skills, specifically MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience in aged care highly regardedTo ApplyIf you are ready to make a difference with HammondCare, Apply Now!Pre- Employment ChecksAll short-listed applicants for these positions will be asked to consent to a criminal record check and references.HammondCare is committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
