Join the Macmahon Surface Team as a Camp Maintenance Person at the Nifty Copper Project to provide high level support to project and be responsible for Maintaining the camp maintenance
About the Role
* 8:6 roster
* Maintain and repair electrical systems across accommodation units, kitchens, laundries, admin buildings, and recreational facilities.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in lighting, power circuits, motors, pumps, switchboards, and control systems.
* Service and repair split systems, ducted AC units, packaged units, evaporative coolers, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
* Conduct preventative maintenance aligned with the 8‐day swing to minimise downtime during off‐roster periods.
* Complete testing and tagging, RCD testing, and electrical compliance checks.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical work, HVAC servicing, and refrigerant handling.
* Assist with general camp maintenance including minor plumbing, structural repairs, and outdoor infrastructure.
* Work safely under mining protocols including JHAs, Take‐5s, permits to work, and isolation/LOTO procedures.
* Collaborate with camp management, contractors, and site teams to resolve issues efficiently.
About you
* Current A‐Grade Electrical Licence (WA or equivalent).
* Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or strong HVAC servicing experience).
* Demonstrated experience in electrical and HVAC maintenance in commercial, industrial, or remote environments.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* High attention to safety and compliance.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in hot, dusty, or remote conditions.
