What you'll do:
Assist in the coordination and action of the engineering department daily and weekly prioritisation, scheduling and preparation of workload, focusing on front-line maintenance.
Ensure reliability and preventative maintenance to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
Handle day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities related to Tissue TM1 Stock Preparation and Stock Approach.
Provide mechanical support to plant and equipment essential for paper machine operation, including the WTP, CHP, and workshops.
Support TM1 production teams proactively, identifying problems and providing solutions.
Respond efficiently to unplanned maintenance to minimize production impact, prioritizing safety and environmental safety.
Collaborate with planners and managers to provide technical guidance to engineering teams in the TM1 area.
Deliver services that are safe, efficient, compliant, and aligned with Shotton Mills policies and standards.
Achieve operational targets considering asset availability, reliability, and costs.
What you'll bring:
HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience with demonstrable skills.
Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams on various product types.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Motivated, agile, results-driven, with problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize work efficiently.
Attention to detail and proactive initiative-taking.
