Salary: $85,075 - $91,920, based on qualifications and competencies. Additionally, superannuation and an attraction and retention allowance of 6% of the base salary are offered.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical / Instrument Technician to join our team. This role involves providing electrical and instrumentation maintenance services to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking technical assessments on electrical and instrumentation assets, assisting with administration tasks, and exercising high-level diagnostics on complex control systems and equipment. They will also provide technical guidance to colleagues and support the Principal Electrician in ensuring electrical safety, asset reliability, and operating capacity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess an Electrical trade qualification at Certificate III (AQF 3) or above, computer literacy, and a solid understanding of telemetry systems. You should also have Confined Space Certification, Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus immunisations, and a Current White Card. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams are essential.
