Job Overview
A Procurement Strategist leads sourcing initiatives, negotiates commercial agreements, and develops procurement strategies to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage RFIs and RFPs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
* Negotiate and finalise commercial agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Provide governance to ensure adherence to procurement policies and identify efficiency opportunities.
* Deliver savings targets, manage commercial risks, address disputes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Influence change, optimise vendor relationships, and manage complex procurement tasks while balancing timelines and priorities.
Requirements
* At least two years of experience in IT procurement.
* Strong understanding of sourcing requirements in the technology space.
* High attention to detail, advanced communication and collaborative skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong time management and multitasking abilities.
* Strategic thinker, commercially astute, solutions-focused, and proactive in identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved service delivery.
