As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Fulltime AM Supervisor to join our team in Loganlea!
About the Role:
* Supervise the AM Shift Forklift Drivers and Freight Handlers
* Ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations
* Ensures policies and procedures are being adhered to
* Ensure daily forklift pre-start checks have been completed
* Operate forklifts and other machinery safely, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
* Monitoring the handling of inbound and outbound freight by:
o Accurately scanning, sorting, and placing items in correct locations.
o Performing Checks, Weighing, and Cubing (CWC).
o Loading/unloading safely, efficiently, and damage-free.
o Blending freight effectively to maximise load revenue.
o Ensuring compliance with mass and load restraint regulations.
o Following Chain of Responsibility requirements.
* Verify consignment notes and report any quality issues.
* Prevent miss-sorts and miss-loads by accurately matching freight and connotes.
* Promptly report any damage, shortages, or split consignments.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard.
* Work towards zero incidents or near-misses.
* Collaborate professionally across all levels of the business.
* Support team goals and actively contribute to improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience supervising a team
* Excellent leadership skills and behaviour
* Valid LF Forklift Licence.
* Strong safety awareness and adherence to OHS regulations.
* Strong understanding of Mass Management and Load Restraint Guidelines.
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
* Strong time management and ability to effectively run the shift
