Various shifts available (Day/Night/Overnight etc.). As part of our aviation cleaning team, you'll enjoy a supportive environment where you're encouraged to give your best every day. About the Role
As an Aviation Cleaner/Supervisor at Brisbane Airport, you'll play a vital role in creating safe, clean, and memorable travel experiences for passengers and visitors. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness throughout the airport, ensuring the environment is always welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and toilets
* Emptying rubbish and recycling bins
* Operating cleaning equipment
* Ensuring cleanliness throughout the airport for a positive customer experience
* Minimum one year's supervisory experience in any industry
* Reliable, proactive, and physically fit
* Able to work independently and in a team
* Coordinate daily cleaning duties and team support
* Perform general site cleaning: amenities, food court, car parks, bins (as required)
* Monitor cleaning quality and report issues to management
* Assist with roster adjustments and task allocation
* Report hazards and incidents
* Maintain WHS compliance and professional communication
About You
* A team player who enjoys working with others
* Strong customer engagement skills and a positive attitude
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, high‐traffic airport environment
* Detail‐oriented and committed to workplace health and safety
* Open to learning and growing in the cleaning industry
* Ability to successfully pass a Criminal History Check, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Medical Assessments
* Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal History Clearance)
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
* Strong work ethic and punctuality
Skills & Experience
* High level of presentation and cleanliness
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and able to walk for extended periods, also bend and lift
* Friendly, approachable, and happy disposition
