Your new Role: The Dental Assistant Policy and Practice Advisor provides expert leadership, high-level policy advice, and operational support to management and oral health staff within the Metro South Oral Health Service. This role ensures adherence to infection control standards, compliance with local, state, and national regulations, and drives continuous quality improvement initiatives. Collaborating with key stakeholders, the Advisor oversees workforce planning, training, and risk management to maintain a skilled, motivated dental assistant team. They act as an advocate for dental assistants, support resource and supply management, and contribute to strategic planning and organizational objectives, fostering safe, efficient, and client-focused oral health care delivery.
