**Maintenance Lead**
The Maintenance Lead role is responsible for the development of best practice maintenance planning, policies and tools to ensure the maintenance liability for the Cape Class is effectively managed.
This will include defining work packs for Maintenance availabilities and Service Visits that ensure the maintenance liability of the Cape Class meet or exceed contracted performance.
**Key** **objectives** **&** **responsibilities**:
- Ensure Maintenance Liability is planned, delivered and regularly reviewed for optimal commercial outcomes.
- Develop Maintenance Management Strategy (Plan) for the Cape Program and provide guidance in support of the Maintenance Management Plan and subordinate policies, procedures and tools.
- Ensure all planning artifacts are provisioned against the Key Date Schedule.
- Ensure planning of all maintenance activities satisfy Class Society Rules and Regulations.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities associated with optimizing availability of the Cape Class platforms.
**Required** **skills,** **experience** **&** **attributes**:
- 10 Years' experience in a Strategic Maintenance Planning role in Maritime (preferred)
- 5 years' experience in a Leadership role.
- Experience of working within defence Maintenance Management Systems including planning of Planned, Corrective Maintenance and Capability upgrade.
- Strong management skills and team building capability.
- Effective communications skills, and
- Competency in Microsoft office and other standard reporting software packages.
