We are a young and driven team at Woollahra Tyre Garage, and we are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance services on our customers' vehicles.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues on light vehicles, including brakes, suspension, steering, and engine systems
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
* Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems
* Communicate effectively to provide accurate estimates for time and cost
* Keep a clean and organized work area
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology and techniques
Requirements:
* AIS Safety Check License or Willing to get this license
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 2 years experience working as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A valid driver's license
* Must be able to work well in a team environment
