This role seeks a seasoned Contract Professional to join the team in Canberra. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contractual terms, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and preparing reports and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delineate and implement an advanced contract management strategy, presenting innovative ideas.
* Engage with Suppliers/Subcontractors on new projects and project expansions.
* Prepare and issue tender packages of work, setting performance metrics to monitor progress.
* Project initiation, tender process/evaluation, compare and reconcile tender submissions.
* Negotiate rates/pricing schedules, develop business cases and recommendations.
* Maintain the Contract Register, new Supplier set-up, negotiate with Suppliers on terms and conditions.
* Execute Completed Agreements, prepare detailed handover packs for the Project.
* Support internal stakeholders with Contract procedures, Creating Contract Administration Plans.
To succeed in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in Contract Management or related field, business management and commercial experience highly regarded. A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering complex projects is essential. Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement best practices, and relevant regulations is also necessary.
