You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided to women and their families. Our Women’s Health Unit encompasses antenatal, postnatal, intrapartum care, gynaecology and a level 2 special care nursery. And we have just purchased a new $3.5Million Da Vinci Robot to expand our complex surgery program. As a Registered Midwife your responsibilities will be to: Deliver evidence based midwiferycare Work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team Deliver a high standard of customer service Ensure patient and staff safety The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following: Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA Clinical skills and motivation to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service A minimum 1 year of post graduate Midwifery experience A commitment to safe practice and quality patient care Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work both independently and within a team structure The ability to act in a professional manner at all times Why Healthscope?
