Grasstrees Australia is a specialised Xanthorrhoea Preissii nursery based in Middle Swan. GTA rescue grasstrees destined for demolition and care for them in our nursery until they are ready for planting.
We are seeking a motivated and versatile team member to join our nursery team. This is a combined role involving general nursery duties, customer sales & service and basic office administration. The ideal candidate will have a general interest in plants, enjoy working with customers and be comfortable balancing outdoor and office–based tasks.
The successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:
* Assist with day-to-day nursery operations, including reticulation, weeding, trimming and general maintenance
* Assist with plant selection, labelling and pricing.
* Load and unload plants and supplies.
* Provide customer service and sales with basic invoicing and point of Sales operation
* Basic Excel knowledge for stocktake & data entry administration
* Strong customer Service and Communication Skills
* Basic computer skills & willingness to learn office systems.
* Be motivated self-starters who can work unsupervised when required.
* Be physically fit and willing to work in all weather conditions
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* Reliable and punctual for work,
* Driver's license and transport to get to & from work
