Lead Auditor – Based in Perth, part of SAI Global – Intertek.
About the Role
Management Systems Auditors conduct external audits against internationally recognised standards including ISO ****:****, ISO *****:****, ISO *****:****.
Responsibilities
* Conduct audits in a timely and effective manner, employing risk assessment standards and maintaining audit process rigor.
* Interface directly with clients to ensure compliance to international standards.
* Work on complex third-party audits where considerable judgment is required.
* Develop audit plans and conduct audits with clients.
* Complete audit reports and conduct follow‑up activities when required.
* Interface with SAI Senior Auditors, Client Relation Managers and Operations.
* Contribute to the development and achievement of SAI Global Assurance Services' strategic vision.
* Travel as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university or equivalent education.
* Extensive full‑time experience in Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
* Experience conducting third‑party audits.
* In‑depth experience across a broad range of industries (Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, Health Services).
* Good at dealing with all levels of a business from executives to operational levels.
* Ability to write reports effectively, present information and respond to questions from clients.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to work effectively in audit teams and manage individual audits with minimal supervision.
