Job Description
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux CLI, with a strong background in technical leadership and team management. You'll be responsible for overseeing a professional support team, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the leadership team to drive growth and transformation initiatives, while contributing to the development of our support knowledge base.
You'll be expected to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
* Extensive experience with Linux at a technical level (Support, Development, Implementation)
* Leadership experience, preferably with team management experience
* Confidence under pressure, with a proven track record of high customer focus
* Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in another language is a plus
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Experience or knowledge of Linux Desktop, OpenStack, Public Cloud, or Virtualization technologies
* Proven track record of contributing to Open Source projects
* Software development experience
* Experience working in support organizations
* Hands-on experience with Canonical's products
