Job Summary
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality clinical services in Residential Aged Care settings. This is a unique opportunity to work with our innovative Plena Care Pathway, which provides therapists with the tools to tailor therapy programs for residents based on their goals and priorities.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting physiotherapy services according to established procedures and policies. This includes servicing RAC clients according to treatment plans developed by Allied Health Professionals, transporting residents to therapy sessions or appointments, setting up and cleaning the physiotherapy gym, collecting referrals and administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists, ordering prescribed equipment, leading exercise groups/programs, and supporting initiatives to meet client/contract expectations. You will also collaborate with physiotherapists on adaptations/changes/progressions of treatment plans.
