Opportunity
As a Learning Designer at the University of Melbourne, you will collaborate with academic and professional staff to design high‐quality learning experiences, focusing on curriculum innovation and technology‐enhanced learning within Biomedical Sciences. You will develop engaging learning materials, support teaching excellence, and contribute to the advancement of educational practices in a vibrant academic community.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing Engaging Learning Materials: Create online learning resources using Canvas LMS, Adobe Creative Suite, and H5P.
* Collaborating with Academic Experts: Work closely with Faculty, School and its departments to develop and update curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
* Managing Strategic Projects: Oversee curriculum renewal and learning design projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
* Providing Training and Support: Offer guidance on learning technologies to staff and students, enhancing their educational experience.

You will possess substantial experience in educational design, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a dynamic academic environment.
You may also:
* Have a tertiary qualification with significant experience in educational design.
* Be highly organised and detail‐oriented with a creative approach to problem‐solving.
* Possess expertise in Canvas LMS and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Have strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
* Be familiar with accessibility standards and inclusive teaching practices.
