Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Small Business Banker to join our team. As a Small Business Banker, you will be responsible for driving retention and growth of existing small business customers and acquiring new business through external relationships.
You will play a critical role in growing revenue and driving customer advocacy, promoting NAB as a bank of choice. Your expertise will be essential in managing small business lending requests up to $2 million, agribusiness lending requests up to $1m and home lending up to $5 million.
You will create strong and lasting partnerships with our branch colleagues, the wider NAB group and externally with referral networks and brokers. Your ability to assess economic value and risk potential of new business to NAB will be crucial in driving business growth.
In this role, you will provide expertise and insights about business options whilst tempered with a balance for risk for growth and innovation.
Requirements
* Enthusiastic energy and a passion for customer service.
* Business and/or Retail/Lending banking and financial experience.
* Excellent understanding of the SME Market and local area knowledge.
* Strong customer and relationship management.
* Problem solving, time management, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
