Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality culinary dishes are served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the kitchen team in daily food preparation activities
2. Create and update menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability
3. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
4. Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
5. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
6. Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and specials
7. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills
4. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
5. Knowledge of restaurant management software is a plus
6. Prep meals for catering
