SMW Group are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic mechanical leading hand to join the team at the new Yeppoon workshop.
This position requires a high level of customer support and service management of road transport vehicles & mining and construction equipment.
DESIRABLE ABILITIES
* Knowledge of road transport (light, medium and heavy vehicles) & construction/mining equipment such as generators, compressors and high pressure wash units.
* Trade qualified in mechanical trades
* A high level of focus on individual and team safety performance.
* Face to face customer communication skills.
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills verbal & written.
* Can do attitude with true desire for customer satisfaction.
* Commitment to meet targets and team goals.
* Accomplished in improving service levels and enhancing customer‑company relationships.
* Able to offer technical advice to customers and team members when required.
* Ability to plan and schedule short and long term activities.
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software
