The Corporate Information Management Team is seeking a Senior Corporate Information Officer for a part-time, permanent position. This hybrid role provides flexibility, enabling you to work both remotely and on-site.
Responsibilities
* Supervise the day-to-day operational services of the Corporate Information team.
* Play a key role in managing the Quarterly Archival Program (QAP), ensuring hardcopy records are transferred to secondary storage or the Public Records Office Victoria (PROV) as required.
* Provide expert advice and support on Records, Archiving, and Information Management practices to internal customers and stakeholders across Council.
* Develop and deliver Archival and Records Management training for Council staff.
* Compile and report on key statistics reflecting the Council's recordkeeping activities.
Salary and Schedule
Salary: (Pro rata) $83,480 - $95,636 per annum, plus 12% superannuation. We are open to full-time for the right candidate. Core part-time hours cover 9:30am to 3:00pm (negotiable), 5 days a week (non-negotiable).
Work Location
Office: 311 Glenferrie Road, Malvern. The office is in a modern building surrounded by boutique stores, cafes, and health clubs. It is within walking distance of Malvern Gardens, High Street Armadale, and Glenferrie Road, with easy access to nearby Malvern and Armadale train stations and tram stops.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills to lead and support a team and foster a collaborative environment.
* Outstanding time management abilities to prioritise tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Demonstrated experience in Records Management and Information services, with an understanding of industry standards and best practices.
* Expertise in Records Management processes, policies, and practices, ensuring compliance and supporting continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels and provide clear guidance on records management matters.
* Proven experience in archiving, with ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations in line with legal obligations and organisational needs.
