Lead Accounting and IT Project Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects that sit at the intersection of IT and accounting, driving meaningful change across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing end-to-end delivery of accounting and IT-related projects, from initiation to closure. They will be responsible for collaborating with the business analyst to map out project scope, milestones, resource needs, risks and measurable success outcomes.


Your Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement effective project management strategies to drive project delivery and quality assurance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess business requirements, defining solutions that meet organisational needs.
* Schedule and coordinate project activities, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with team members and clients.
* Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent)
* 5+ years experience in project management roles, ideally within an accounting, finance, or professional services firm.
* Proven ability to deliver IT and operational projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Detailed knowledge of accounting workflows, compliance cycles, and client service models.
