The Role
At Dawson Park PS, we are seeking dedicated teachers who embrace evidence-based practice and are committed to helping every student succeed.
The suitable applicants will deliver high-quality, explicit instruction and implement structured literacy approaches such as Sounds-Write and Spelling Mastery.
They will establish and uphold clear engagement norms that encourage focus, participation, and responsibility, while fostering a classroom environment that is safe, supportive, and inspiring.
It is highly desirable that teachers can skilfully scaffold content to provide differentiated teaching processes when catering for a whole class with mixed ability students.
Suitable applicants that possess the ability to utilise trauma informed practice and proactive behaviour strategies that support positive student outcomes in and out of the classroom will be looked upon favourably.
