Role
The Leader, Arts Curriculum 7-12 provides specialist expertise in secondary education, advising on SA Curriculum, Australian Curriculum V9, and SACE. The role directs resources and curriculum development in collaboration with practitioners, leveraging extensive knowledge to guide system‐wide implementation and improvement. Arts education embraces visual arts, music, drama, dance, and media arts, fostering creativity, cultural understanding, emotional expression, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‐level advice and leadership across the curriculum.
* Direct resources and curriculum development together with practitioners.
* Collaborate with the Curriculum Directorate and stakeholders to implement evidence‐informed curriculum and strengthen teacher capability.
* Monitor emerging position‐title trends locally and globally; activate areas of impact and guide strategic learning design to enhance outcomes.
Qualifications
* Essential: Current full teacher registration.
* Desirable: Nil.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant must obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) before employment, renewed every five years. The incumbent must complete the RRHAN‐EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) or the online Fundamentals course, updated every three years. Refer to the attached Position Description for other special conditions.
Remuneration
STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%).
