Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Orthopaedic ward as a Registered Nurse. Our team specialises in delivering high-quality patient care for orthopaedic cases, ENT and pain management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care and supervising Graduate Nurses, Nursing Affiliates and Nurse Students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinically assess patients, documenting assessment findings.
* Promote an environment of confidence, confidentiality and respect, identifying actual and potential problems through discussion with patients and relevant others.
* Assess and document the anticipated needs of patients and families during and following hospitalisation.
* Monitor diagnostic procedure results and investigations.
* Collaborate with colleagues to assess complicated nursing problems, guiding Graduate Nurses and other staff as needed.
* Document planned nursing care and ensure care plans remain current.
Applicants should possess excellent clinical knowledge, effective communication and documentation skills, ability to work flexibly within a team and prioritise workloads.
