About The Team

The Growth Marketing team is responsible for deploying our customer acquisition budget (CAC) across all online and offline marketing channels to meet our customer growth goals. With a focus on New Customer growth as their north star goal, the Growth team works in partnership with the local ANZ finance team to manage investment efficiency, while leveraging best practice learnings from our global counterparts.
About The Role
This role sits within the ANZ Marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing, ANZ, with 1 direct report (with potential to expand). As the leader of the local Growth Marketing pod, you’ll drive acquisition initiatives across Australia and New Zealand, aiming to maximize marketing efficiency, improve reach, drive incremental growth, and optimize conversion across the funnel.
You’ll be a hands-on paid media expert, leading planning, execution, and optimization of media buys and campaigns to acquire new customers, combining strategic insight with executional excellence. Knowledge of Australian consumer behavior and regional nuances is crucial.
You’ll translate performance data into insights and develop innovative, audience-first strategies to grow in key markets. Responsibilities include building and launching campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Search, Display, Offline media, and regional partnerships.
This highly cross-functional role requires collaboration with Media Agencies, Creative, Analytics, Finance, and Martech teams to deliver high-impact, performance-driven campaigns.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
Lead campaign launches, optimization, and reporting, including creative, setup, targeting, and budgeting.
Monitor budget pacing and key metrics such as New Customers, LTV, and CAC across channels like Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate, Display, and App Install campaigns.
Collaborate with agencies and in-house teams to optimize media buying to meet growth targets cost-effectively.
Manage performance across ongoing paid channels and execute strategic campaigns with separate goals and budgets.
Develop testing strategies to improve KPIs, including A/B testing, audience segmentation, ad placements, and retargeting.
Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, adjusting tactics based on learnings.
Partner with cross-functional teams to meet Australia’s performance goals.
We’re Excited About You Because…
10+ years of growth marketing experience, including strategy and planning.
Hands-on experience managing media buying and optimization (Paid search, Paid Social, Display) at an agency or in-house.
Proficiency with advertising platforms like Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager, and performance dashboards.
Deep understanding of digital marketing metrics (CPL, CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV, ROAS) and attribution methodologies.
Knowledge of the Australian consumer market and regional differences.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, graphs, and basic SQL.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
