Overview
SLR Consulting, an employee‐controlled international sustainability consultancy, is seeking a senior consultant (8+ years) to join its Environmental Approvals, Closure & Management (EAC&M) team in Perth.
Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to the delivery of environmental approvals and management services across standalone and multidisciplinary projects.
* Take ownership of project workstreams and deliver high‐quality outcomes for clients.
* Provide clear, pragmatic, commercially focused environmental advice to clients and internal teams.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and collaborate across technical disciplines.
* Prepare concise technical reports and documentation aligned with best practice and regulatory expectations.
* Support proposal preparation, business development initiatives and occasional travel for site inspections.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial consulting environment.
* Strong experience delivering environmental approvals and management services with a consulting mindset and understanding of client needs.
* Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables across competing priorities, both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear, concise, professional style.
* Proactive, adaptable, self‐motivated approach; full Australian working rights and willingness to travel as required.
