POSITION: Hospitality WorkerTYPE: Full-timeORGANISATION: Double Corner StoreLOCATION: Port Lincoln SA 5606SALARY: AUD 66,000 to 74,000 + 11.5% SuperannuationPOSITION SUMMARYThe Hospitality Worker will be responsible for providing excellent customer serviceby greeting customers, taking orders, and making and cooking efficiently.
The rolealso requires attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, and enhancing customerexperience by recommending food offerings.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and Beverage lists- Setting and arranging tables- Taking food and beverage orders- Providing excellent food service to customers- Assisting in food preparation and presentation including making of Coffees/Teas, Cooking takeaway food, stock replenishment, cleaning and other general duties- cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espressomachines- Clearing tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to kitchen- Operating EFTPOS and cash registers Stacking and displaying goods for sale- Open and close procedures Unload and stock freight Maintain stock levels- Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials- Sell products and services in the context of the workplace- Selling lotto tickets and providing related services accurately and efficiently.- attendance/operation of a gaming machine terminal- Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures-- Comply with relevant regulations Basic food preparation- Follow cleaning safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective clothingREQUIREMENTS- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.- Completion of Year 12 and/or a Certificate III in Hospitality (or equivalent).- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a hospitality or customer service role.- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-pacedenvironment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Experience in food preparation and handling coffee machines (trainingprovided if needed).- Ability to recommend and upsell food and beverage items.- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.- Basic knowledge of lotto sales or willingness to learn.- A valid Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.- Can work on early shifts start from 5:30 amHOW TO APPLYCandidates must submit their resume by the online portal.
