Role Summary
The Ad Tech Sales Account Executive will drive the adoption of Amazon's ad tech products, including the DSP, APIs, and cloud solutions for marketing analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling and implementing large-scale projects with marketers at senior decision-maker levels.
They should demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, and be capable of building compelling value propositions across organizational boundaries.
The role requires a deep understanding of SaaS companies and ad tech partners used by enterprise marketers.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop Strategic Partnerships: Align with partners on short- and long-term business focuses and develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) related to AdTech.
2. Execute JBP: Lead the execution of JBPs and achieve key goals.
3. Understand Advertisers' Needs: Understand advertisers' business and marketing strategies, technology stacks, and develop specific plans to utilize Amazon's ad tech solutions to meet their goals.
4. Build Relationships: Build relationships with key decision makers, educate them on the advantages of Amazon's ad tech solutions, and obtain support for execution plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 7+ years of B2B experience: In sales or partnership development selling technology products, preferably in marketing and advertising.
* Excellent Communication Skills: To influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong Analytical Abilities: And confidence in data use.
* Excellent Project Management Skills: In both Japanese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Sales Management Experience: Over 5 years of sales management experience supporting teams in sales or partnerships.
* Understanding of Database Structures: And SQL queries.
* Enterprise Cloud Solutions: Experience selling enterprise cloud solutions.
* Programmatic Ad Tech Industry: Deep knowledge of programmatic ad tech industry and marketing automation.
