We are looking for a skilled permanent Forklift Operator to join our client's team located in the outer northern Adelaide suburbs! This permanent full-time position offers reliable afternoon hours from Monday to Friday, 2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm, plus irregular overtime. Our client is a market-leader in food manufacturing and seeks a candidate with experience in food distribution and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to handle, move, and store goods in a food manufacturing environment.
- Perform warehousing and distribution duties, including loading / unloading trucks and managing stock.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and food handling standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to food safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- Current Australian forklift licence with 3+ years experience
- Inventory management experience (1-2 years preferred)
- Computer literacy and experience with inventory systems
- Physical capability for manual handling (lifting up to 12kg)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Full-time permanent working rights
- Must have current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work in varying temperatures including cold storage (0-5°C)
