The establishment of the new Googong High School is a significant milestone in the Queanbeyan Network of Schools, strategically positioned in the capital region near Canberra. As a visionary leader, you will oversee the inception of the school from Term 1. Your team will collaborate closely with other community agencies to support students' academic, emotional, and social development.
* A highly approachable and engaging leader who can develop a shared vision and School Excellence Plan in partnership with the local community.
* Strong educational leadership, strategic analysis, and planning capability, combined with creative problem-solving skills to implement innovative programs and initiatives that lead to high-quality learning outcomes.
* Proven success in implementing student wellbeing programs and practices to advocate for and engage a diverse student community in an inclusive learning culture.
In addition to your teaching experience, you must hold an unconditional full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education. Please note that applicants are required to include their Working With Children Clearance number as part of this application.
