We're looking for a strategic and skilled
Communications Advisor
to elevate our brand, strengthen our reputation, and support leaders with expert guidance. If you're a storyteller, strategist, and relationship‑builder who thrives in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.
This role plays a vital part in shaping Juniper's voice and positioning us as a trusted thought leader across the sector. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll ensure our communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with organisational goals.
Blending strategy, storytelling, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement, you will help strengthen Juniper's profile and enhance how we communicate across all audiences.
At its core, the role provides strategic advice, develops effective communication plans, and produces high‑quality, compelling content that supports Juniper's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement external and internal communication strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
* Provide expert communications advice to senior leaders, including crisis management and media training.
* Develop and drive external communications across multiple platforms that build and maintain Juniper's brand.
* Deliver engaging internal communication initiatives that connect employees and support change management.
* Proactively identify, assess and manage reputational risk, developing and implementing issue management plans.
* Build and maintain strong media relationships, developing and executing proactive and reactive media strategies.
You Will Bring
* Strong experience in corporate communications, media, PR, or strategic advisory roles.
* Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
* Confidence working closely with executives and providing high‑level communication counsel.
* A proactive approach to issue and reputation management.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships.
* Experience in aged care, health, or not‑for‑profit environments is a bonus, but not essential.
What We Offer
* Salary from $108,000 per year, with additional not‑for‑profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550
