Join us at the forefront of innovation as a Staff Software Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in leading the technical vision and architecture for a major Contact Centre transformation across the Group. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive the end-to-end implementation of a cutting-edge solution built on Microsoft Dynamics – Contact Centre, reshaping how we engage with customers.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver cloud-native, scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on AWS, leveraging full-stack expertise in React or Next.js and .NET Core or Java or NodeJS.
* Lead as a technical subject-matter expert, mentoring engineers and sharing knowledge through workshops, guilds, and collaborative forums.
* Design and implement innovative, scalable solutions as part of a cross-functional squad, using technologies like GraphQL, modern data access layers, and cloud-native services on AWS.
* Work with a DevSecOps mindset, owning the full lifecycle—you build it, you secure it, you test it, and you run it—with a strong grasp of CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure pipelines, logging, and monitoring.
* Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Figma AI, and others to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions that deliver real value, while continuously driving process improvements and innovation.
* Think creatively to solve complex problems; experience in the banking/contact centre technology domain is a plus.
Qualifications and Experience
* Deliver full-stack, full-cycle design solutions with a focus on front-end engineering using Next.js and React, while supporting back-end development with C# and .NET Core.
* Lead as a technical SME, mentoring engineers and sharing knowledge through workshops, guilds, and collaborative forums.
* Experience designing and implementing innovative, scalable solutions as part of cross-functional squads, using GraphQL and cloud-native services on AWS.
* DevSecOps mindset with experience across CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure pipelines, logging, and monitoring.
* Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, other AI tools) and a working understanding of LLMs and ML concepts.
* Strong collaboration with stakeholders and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Experience in the banking/contact centre technology domain is a plus.
Tech Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all, but experience with some of these will help:
* Expert in SDLC and Agile methods with experience in architecture, design, implementation, deployment, integration, and technology transformations.
* Full-stack design experience and ability to design, build, challenge, and run essential systems.
* Experience with Contact Centre technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics, Genesys, LivePerson, or similar platforms is highly regarded.
* Full-Stack Development: React.js, Next.js, and .NET Core, Java, NodeJS, C# with scalable microservices and APIs (GraphQL & REST).
* Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins.
* Database & API Design: PostgreSQL, Oracle, and modern data access patterns.
* Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch.
* AI & GenAI Tools: GitHub Copilot, Cline, Roocode, AWS Bedrock; understanding of LLMs and ML concepts.
* Secure Engineering & DevSecOps: security principles, DevSecOps, and site reliability engineering practices.
* Agile Delivery & Testing: experience with TDD/BDD, automated testing, service virtualization, and cloud-native development.
