Station Support Officer - Newcastle

Salary: £28,486.92 per annum with yearly increments based on performance.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Newcastle
Type of Working Arrangement: Blended approach of home and office-working is available
Hours: 15 Hours Per Week
About the Role
* Support the Officer in Charge (OIC) in the smooth day‑to‑day running of the station.
* Assist across multiple areas including governance, procurement, property management, and corporate services.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to OIC to assist with station engagement and collate information when required.
* Ensure information is stored, accessed and shared in line with the Information Management policy.
* Monitor station supplies, place orders and track progress of orders and purchases.
* Carry out monthly vehicle mileage and logbook checks, arrange vehicle repairs and maintenance.
* Conduct regular building checks, report to the facilities management provider and elevate when necessary.
* Carry out Health and Safety checks in line with guidance.
Qualifications
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Excellent standard of planning and organisational ability.
* Ability to remain calm while working under pressure, dealing with the public or demanding deadlines, maintaining a flexible approach.
* Previous administrative experience with demonstrable organisational ability and attention to detail.
