As a skilled professional, you will provide high-quality general dental practitioner oral health services to eligible populations. The role involves providing professional support to all streams within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service Oral Health Service.
The key responsibilities include:
* Providing clinical procedures within the general dental scope of practice, including dental extractions, direct restorations, dentures, preventive dentistry, etc.
* Understanding and responding to patient needs and complaints.
* Participating in relevant professional development and continuous learning.
* Liaising effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation.
Requirements
* CURRENT REGISTRATION AS A DENTIST WITH THE AUSTRALIAN HEALTH PRACTITIONER REGULATION AGENCY (AHPRA) AND A CURRENT ANNUAL PRACTISING CERTIFICATE ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION.
* Possession of a licence to use radiation apparatus for dental purposes is required.
* The successful applicant must complete an application for a Medicare provider number for a dentist for the required location/s within CQHHS Oral Health Services.
