Achieve Something Great
Join Campbelltown Hospital's General Surgical Ward and become part of a high‑paced, energetic team delivering exceptional, patient‑centred surgical care. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence‑based care for a diverse cohort of surgical patients, ensuring every patient receives compassionate, culturally appropriate support. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a setting where teamwork, adaptability, and excellence in care come together every day.
You'll also benefit from a high level of support from an experienced workforce, including CNEs, CNCs, and senior nurses who are dedicated to helping you grow. With strong opportunities for professional development and exposure to varied surgical presentations, you'll enhance your clinical skills, build confidence, and thrive in a team environment that values learning, collaboration, and your long‑term nursing career.
Are You the Right Fit?
You are a team player who works confidently within your scope of practice, delivering compassionate, patient‑centred care and escalating concerns appropriately to ensure safe and timely management. You communicate clearly with patients, carers, and colleagues, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and bring excellent judgment to every clinical situation. You recognise patient deterioration early, contribute proactively to care planning, and work effectively alongside your multidisciplinary team in a busy surgical environment.
You maintain an ongoing commitment to professional development, engaging in reflective practice and expanding your skills under RN supervision. You uphold the Enrolled Nurse Standards for Practice, relevant legislation, NSW Health's Code of Conduct, and the principles of culturally appropriate and evidence‑based care. If you are enthusiastic, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a supportive, skilled, and expanding surgical nursing team — we'd love to hear from you.
