Category Procurement Specialist
This role is pivotal in shaping our women's category, curating a selection that reflects the latest trends and meets the evolving needs of our customers.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Category Buyer to drive sales growth, maximise profitability, and ensure seamless customer experiences.
The commercial team is data-driven, product-focused, and trend-orientated. We work closely with the Planning team to deliver sales growth, maximise profitability, and provide exceptional customer service.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Driving company-wide strategies and OKRs by conducting market research and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
* Maintaining accurate records of vendor details, including Brand Plans, SKU lists, and department brand profile matrix.
* Negotiating favourable terms and conditions for contracts with vendors while delivering the best customer-facing assortment in the market.
* Identifying emerging trends, sourcing new products, and building strong relationships with suppliers to achieve mutual goals and foster long-term partnerships.
* Collaborating with internal teams, including Marketing, Vendor Management, Operations, and Finance, to drive sales growth and profitability.
You will have previous experience as a Buyer working in a high-volume business, be skilled in Excel reporting, and possess strong communication skills with a great eye for detail.
