Senior Parts Interpreter Job
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead parts operations in a busy workshop environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical parts knowledge and leadership capability in the heavy vehicle sector, particularly across European truck brands.

About the Role
* Identify, locate, and supply parts for Scania, Volvo, and other heavy transport vehicles.
* Provide technical support and parts interpretation for workshop technicians.
* Manage inventory levels, purchasing, stocktakes, and supplier coordination.
* Process quotes, orders, and invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product changes and part number cross-referencing.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients.
* Contribute to process improvements and team training as a senior member of the department.
* Support workshop planning by aligning parts availability with job scheduling.
* Ensure all parts operations meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Parts Interpreter role, ideally in heavy vehicle transport or dealership environments.
* Advanced knowledge of Scania and/or Volvo truck components is highly desirable.
* Strong supplier management and inventory control skills.
* Familiarity with parts management software (e.g. Pentana, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).
* Excellent communication, time management, and customer service abilities.
* Forklift licence desirable.
* Current manual drivers licence essential.
