We are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Financial Controller in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of our Finance department. This key leadership role focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the effective management of financial processes across the resort.
Working closely with Department Managers, you will help translate operational insights into annual budgets and accurate monthly forecasts. You will prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders and contribute directly to improving the resort's financial performance.

You will oversee cash flow management, credit approvals, and timely reporting, all while engaging with department heads to drive profitability. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing measures to streamline operations and recover outstanding debts efficiently.

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Finance and/or Accounting.
* A minimum of 3 years' previous leadership experience in a similar position within a large organisation.
* Have a strong analytical mind and finance acumen to monitor, manage and control costs.
* Experience with PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation, BAS preparation, Accounts Payable, and Superannuation.
* Proficient in accounting software; experience with Opera, Zambion, Purchase Plus and Sun is advantageous.
