Our client is currently looking for a motivated and experienced **IT Automation Tester Manager** to join the project initiation and engagement team.
**About the Role**
You'll be working within the testing team, contributing towards the automation testing efforts across various whole-of-government initiatives and other projects within the branch. A main focus will be on designing, developing and enhancing the Test Automation framework for Infrastructure Automation toolset, including developing and maintaining the regression suites.
This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, such as architects, tech leads, product owners/managers and scrum teams to identify test scope, provide test estimates and report, and prepare test schedules.
You will also be required to work closely with the teams to guarantee thorough testing.
You will collaborate across other program leads. A requirement for this role is the ability to be flexible within the working environment, adapting to shifting priorities within the branch, work will vary depending on Executive Priorities and directions.
As the test manager you will be developing test strategy and plan and test cases, manage testers to the test plan, manage defect reporting and resolution, report on test execution progress.
As part of this role, you may have visibility of commercially sensitive information.
You will be expected to handle this information with discretion and ensure you only use this information in a way that is relevant to the role you are undertaking with us.
**Ideal experience**
- Has experience as a Senior Automation Test Analyst/Automation Test Lead with a proven track record of delivering projects
- Take ownership and execute both functional and non-functional tests as per the SLA and within agreed timeframes.
- Implement and manage continuous automated testing integration using Microsoft tools (Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Unit testing framework) for the automation of functional/system testing.
