Job Description
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimise procurement processes and reduce costs.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and value for money.
* Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and conditions.
* Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain a seamless supply chain.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
* Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management
* Confidence leading RFx processes and commercial negotiations
* Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical teams
* A commercial mindset with a focus on cost, value, and risk management
* Experience working in technical or engineering-led environments (highly regarded)
* A proactive approach to improving processes and driving procurement maturity
